Gum Grafting
Case #1
This otherwise healthy 23 year old presented to our office with advanced gingival recession on her side and back teeth. She had recently started dating and her boyfriend mention that she should get it "checked out before she starts losing her teeth." We determined that it would be prudent to treat her left side first, as this side has more recession and exposed roots than does her right side. The "before and after" photographs seen below are the results at her two week visit following connective tissue grafting. We plan to treat her right side next month.
Case #2
This 41 year old male from Pleasant Grove, Utah presents to our office with gum recession on his upper canines. He objects to how his gum recession has impacted his smile and normally outgoing personality. He is always aware of his recession in social and professional settings. His main treatment objective was 100% root coverage of his "unsightly" roots.
Case #3
This 53 year old male presents with exposed, sensitive root surfaces on his upper canines. He reports that he can no longer eat or drink anything remotely cold as they cause him too much pain. Although he is concerned with his dental esthetics, his main objective is to eliminate the hypersensitivity to cold, and enjoy some of the simple things in life, like a glass of milk for example. The results seen here were taken two months after eliminating his recession with Connective Tissue grafting.
Case #4
This 28 year old female from Lehi, Utah presents with gum recession on her upper canines which are extremely sensitive. After discussing her grafting options, she elected to have her recession treated with Connective tissue. The "After" photograph was taken 6 weeks after treatment.
Case #5
This 27 year old male from Price, Utah has a history of being pretty aggressive with his brushing. The results seen below are only possible through Connective Tissue Grafting. While there are several grafting techniques and substitute materials available today, Connective Tissue remains the "Gold Standard".
Case #6
This Provo, Utah patient has advanced gum recession on her lower right canine. The tooth is tender to brush and hurts when eating. The results with Connective Tissue Grafting are AMAZING!
